Do I need a visa for kunming China ? I am from the UK

You should just insert Chinese Embassy Guidelines for Visa Applications in internet search engine and you will easily find out all the necessary steps that will guide you toward the visa issuing. Also, you can apply through an agency. This is hassle free, but also more expensive.
