About the itinerary requirement

The requirements for an L Visa includes an itinerary, I'm planning to travel with someone who lives in Hangzhou and staying with him so the itinerary is still pretty open according to his schedule. How should I fulfill that requirement? What happens if I submit any itinerary and I want to make changes or include something else later on or even when I'm there?

Dear, if so, you can ask the person to write you an invitation letter so that you don't need to provide round-trip tickets and hotel bookings. You can fill in the blanks on the application form by a planned itinerary, but it is ok to make changes after you enter China.
