144 hour visa free stay

Hello, we are flying from Dallas to Hong Kong where we are staying 3 days. Then we are flying to Beijing for four days and on to Tokyo for four days, then back to Dallas. All flights are part of the same itinerary. We all have US passports. Do we qualify for the free 144 hour visa?
