About:China Transit Visa

Layover in Shenzhen

I am an American with a ten hour layover in Shenzhen. I do not intend to leave the airport. I am simply traveling from Manila to Seattle. Will I need a transit visa for this?

Matt, according to what I found on the TIMATIC (Travel Information Manual Automatic) website, Shenzhen now allows the 24-hour visa-free transit, but you still need to confirm this with your airline.
