About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
LA to Shanghai only, is a visa needed?
I heard about the 144 hour FREE transit.
My son will travel from LA on 5/19 to Shanghai and fly back to LA on 5/24. He has confirm round trip tickets with seat confirmation.
-Can he use the 144 hr twov? His destination is Shanghai only, not a third place.
-Does this mean no visa application is needed, or he still has to apply for a visa at the Consulate in LA?
