Flying - Cruise - Fly Out - Hope I'm Ok to use the 144 twov

I'm hoping I don't need a VISA …
A) Arriving from Singapore in Shanghai on a Monday.
B) Spending three nights in Shangahi
C) Leave Thursday on a cruise to Japan
D) Return to Shanghai and Flying next day to Thailand.
I think I'm ok? Right?? (Fingers crossed)
