About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving from and departing to the same country.

Is it possible to arrive from HK and stay 72hrs visa free (British passport holder) and then return back to HK or do I need to be arriving from and departing to different countries?

Of course you must depart to a different country. That’s what transit means.
