Apply Chinese Visa from HK

What is the procedure to get a Chinese Visa from HK with an business invitation letter? How do I show my itinerary to enter in HK ? When I arrive at HK from Shanghai, I wont be having a chinese valid visa to re-enter China and I would need to apply for that after entering in HK. Do I need a return ticket back to home contry to get a transit Visa in HK or a round trip ticket to China is enough?
Also, Kindly help to understand how to apply in Visa centre in person without any Agent.

First, you need to prepare the required documents including passport and its photocopy, the application form, passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your Chinese business partner, as well as others. Next, submit the application to the office of the commissioner of the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC in HK SAR to apply for the business M type.
