Visiting shanghai from United Kingdom and then onto Singapore

Hello, I am travelling with my wife from the United Kingdom where we are residents to shanghai, staying three nights in Shanghai, then on to Singapore for eight nights, and then back to Shanghai for four nights before returning to the U.K. Will we be able to use the 144 hour visa waiver scheme on both visits to Shanghai?

From my personal experience, you are eligible for the 144-hour visa free transit and can apply for the permit twice. For the application, you need to present your valid passport, visa for a third country or region if required, a full completed Arrival and Departure Card and an onward ticket with confirmed seat to the staff at the Transit Service Counter.
