About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I have to transit to a third country

Could I use this visa to visit Beijing for <72hours from Singapore (on a UK passport), before returning to Singapore. Or is this only valid if the departing flight is to somewhere different to the country from which you arrived?

Entry and exit country must be different or you are not in transit but trip to China and need a visa.
