About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai visit...

Hi All...
I plan to fly from Bangkok to Singapore for 4 nights then on to Shanghai for 3 nights and back to Bangkok in late July
Can I get the 144 hour twov with this flight or what do I have to apply for? Thank you in advance..

If you hold Thailand passport, you cannot get the 144 hour twov with this flight.

Thailand passport does not qualify for 144 hours transit without visa. If your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries, and if you fly BKK-SIN-SHA-BKK with no other stops then you don't need a visa. But if your route is BKK-SIN-SHA-SIN-BKK then you will not qualify for transit without visa.

Thank you Hector.. I will travel from BKK to SIN to PVG and back to BKK.. Stopping off in Singapore 4nights and Shanghai 3 nights.. So I can apply for the 144 hour visa is this correct? I have an Irish passport...

It's not a visa. You will be in "transit without visa" and you inform your airline of this when you check-in and they look in your passport for a Chinese visa. Print your confirmed onward tickets on paper and be ready to show them in Singapore and Shanghai.
