Do I qualify for the Shanghai 144 visa free transit?

If I arrive in Nanjing from Hong Kong and departing SH for Hong Kong?

Do you mean HK-Nanjing-Shanghai-HK? If this is your itinerary, then you do not. If this is not yours, please give a more specific itinerary.
