About:Shanghai Public Transportation Card

I am not from China but often go there for business trips.

Can I buy and keep the Shanghai public transport card for future use? will the value in the card expire?

Yes, you can. The valid of the card is 5 years. If more than 5 years, reactivate it at service counter. Then you can use it normally.
