About:China Visa Application in USA

Two stopovers in China (23 hours and 11 hours) before going to USA

Hello,
I have a flight from Indonesia to USA with two stopovers in China (Beijing 23 hours, Shanghai 10 hours) then to USA. Can I use the transit visa? If not, is my option to stay in the airport only for the layovers? Thank you very much.

No you don’t need a visa. China has this 144hrs rules where if you are staying in Beijing or Shanghai less than 144hrs (6days), you don’t need visa.
