About:China Visa

Shanghai and Beijing transit, Vietnamese passport

Hi,
I am Vietnamese citizen, hold Vietnamese passport with Dutch resident permit and working now in the Netherlands. In June, I am going back home for holiday and just purchased my flight ticket (from Amsterdam to Ho Chi Minh city). I have a question about the visa to China. Since I will have layover approximately 22 hours in Shanghai and 18 hours in Beijing (when I get back to NL). Would you please suggest me that do I need to apply the transit g? and if yes, what is the procedure to do? I have read many information via the Internet but it is completely confused.

Thank you!
Ngoc

You need to apply transit G type, and you should first prepare passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, transportation arrangement, and your travel plan for Ho Chi Minh city. Next, submit the application to the embassy of China to apply for transit visa.
