About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h Transit Visa in Shenzhen Airport

I will be landed in Shenzhen Airport for 16h stop over before heading to Australia. During this time i would like to do some sightseeing if some free transit allows it.
it is possible to get a 24 Transit (free) in Shenzhen Airport that allows to go out?

Thank you so much. I need to ask shenzhen airlines before check in or just in the check in is enough? Sorry for asking as many questions but there are a lot incorrect information on internet

You are advised to inform the airlines beforehand that you want to use the free transit in Shenzhen when you boarding the flight.
