About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

DTW-NRT-PEK-ICN-DTW

I wonder if I'm eligible for a 144-hour stay if traveling the following way.

Detroit-Narita (4 days stay) Haneda-Beijing (3 days stay) Beijing-Seoul (2 hours change of plains) - Detroit.

I am holding a passport from a country eligible for 144 stays.

What matters is country immediately before and after Beijing not being the same. It doesn't matter how long the stop is in each country. This is viewed as Japan > Beijing > Korea so you can do the 144 hour transit in Beijing no problem.
