About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72hr visa. my route is Jfk-DTW-PVG-CAN and return is CAN-PVG-DTW-JFK

Hi, im an airline employee, so I dont have a confirmed flight to return,but i do have a flight of which im catching. im arriving on the 9th and plan on departing on the 12th. is it ok to show my flight information. or my seat must be confirmed in order to get the 72hr twov?

This plan fails in almost every possible way. First, stand-by is never allowed. Second, you're visiting China and not in transit to a third country. Third, two stops in China would limit you to 24 hours transit anyway.
