About:Jingdong Grand Canyon

15 hour layover at Shanghai Pudong Airport

26th March landing at 730pm. Leaving at 1pm the next day. Flying China eastern airlines, Australia to UK. Layover in Shanghai. Do we need to collect and recheck our bags?

No, you don't. Besides, the transfer procedures are the following:
'Through Checked-in Passenger After Arrival' - Confirm Onward Boarding Pass - Check-in - Quarantine - Immigration Inspection - Security Check - International Concourse - Boarding
