i will be arriving into shanghai pudong airport via china eastern airline in terminal 1.

I will be arriving into PVG via China Eastern Airline in terminal 1. My International connecting flight is with United Airline (T2).  Do I need to clear customs and immigration or is there a transit facility that will allow me to move between T2 and T1? Do I need to get my luggage and check in to United Airlines? Will 2 hours be enough?
