About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h transit visa + 144h free visa

I will be travelling from london to Shanghai then towards Beijing by train.

Could I use the 24h transit between Shanghai and Beijing and then apply for the 144h free entry once in Beijing ?

Travel intention london - Shanghai ( transit) -Beijing ( transit) -Shanghai -london

No, more than one stop in China is limited to 24 hour direct transit. 144 hour requires non-stop flight into china and then non-stop flight to a third country. Also London > China > London is not a transit

Fails on almost every count. UK-China-UK isn't even a transit, it's a visit to China.
