About:China Family Reunion Visa

Q1 in China

Hello! I am about to obtain my work visa, and my husband has a student visa. Is it possible to apply for his Q1 visa inside china and change it here without having to go back to our country? Thank you in advance. PS: because the article mentions that it has to be done a month prior to the intended travel day but in our case, he is already here. Your help is appreciated.

It's possible to change his visa into Q type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, he doesn’t need to go back to your home country for that.
