About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour Visa Free in Beijing

I will be flying from Auckland NZ , transit 1 hour, HK and then onto Beijing at 12.25 pm on Thursday 18 April 2019. When do i have to leave Beijing at the latest ? Hoping to Fly out of Beijing to Singapore within that 144 hrs.
By going through HK to change planes, does that make it valid.

The 144-hour period starts from 12:01 AM on the day after the day of entry which is the 19th, so your scheduled departure time should not be later than 11:59 PM on the 24th. The HK stop will not jeopardize your trip as long as your Beijing-Singapore flight does not stop in HK or another city in Mainland China.
