About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

Stockholm -> Beijing -> Manila

Checking with Air China, I found a flight with a nine hour daytime layover in PEK.

- Will I have to claim my checked luggage upon arrival and recheck it, or will it be transported for me?
- Can I leave the airport for a while, come back later and still make use of the free transit lounge included in my ticket?

1. No, you don't need to claim your checked luggage and recheck it. The luggage will be delivered to the destination directly.
2. Yes, you can leave the airport. But you need to apply for a Stay Permit at the airport first.
