About:China Visa Fees

I'm flying from the UK via Beijing (stopover 14 hours) to Philippines.

Do I need visa and where do I apply?
Do I have to apply for one beforehand or can I get one when I land in Beijing?

I am South African.

You can apply for the 24h twov in Beijing after arrival. Nice trip.
