About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Port of Entry: Guangdong

I’m currently in HK and want to go to China by train. I would enter through Shenzhen in Guangdong. Would I be eligible for a 24 hour twov?

If you enter through one of the approved ports you can apply for a visa on arrival to stay in Shenzhen for up to 5 days but you have to stay in the Shenzhen City. It costs the same amount as the 10 year visa though.

I’m trying to get to Dongguan. So if I enter through Schenzhen can’t I get a 24 hour visa and go to Dongguan if I go back to Hong Kong within that time frame? I’m not trying to stay up to 5 days.

You cannot. You need a visa.

It's not possible as Shenzhen don't allow the 24h twov if you travel to/from HK, Macau.
