About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly into Beijing and leave on a cruise

We are scheduled on a cruise from Beijing in October. In this instance we would have a one way ticket into Beijing and cruise documentation to leave. Are we eligible for the 72 or 144 hour transit visas?

You are eligible for the 144 hour transit as long as the first cruise port is not mainland china and is not in the same country as the flight you land in Beijing on.
