About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Does this qualify for the Shanghai 144hour visa?

We are travelling from Sydney on 4th August to SH and then fly from SH to Manchester on 8th August on the same ticket.We are not returning via China when we leave the UK.

Yes, this qualify for the 144hr visa.
