About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

USA -> Shanghai -> Beijing -> Seoul

Is it possible to use the 144-hour travel visa if I am arriving in Shanghai on May 10th, going to Beijing via train on May 13th, and flying from Beijing to Seoul on May 16th? Or do I need to apply for a longer term visa? Thanks!

That's not possible without a visa.
