Visa free trip

Would I be eligible for any visa free option if I have round trip flights from the US to Beijing and then round trip tickets from Beijing to Vietnam? The time span is as follows: Arrival in Beijing Saturday, depart Monday or Tuesday (if it makes a difference in visa) for Vietnam, return to Beijing the following Sunday or Monday (if it makes a difference) for our flight departing Monday back to the US.
