About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have 2 layovers in shanghai within a week

can I use the 144hs visa free those two times or just once?

No limit to the number of times you do the transit without visa. As soon as the flight leaving China lands in the third country, you can go back to china later the same day if you want.

You can use it as often as you want, even every day if your itinerary qualifies each time.
