About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa or 144 hour Visa?

If we are flying from Australia to Shanghai staying for 5 days then flying to Hong Kong for a 4 days then flying back to Australia, do we need a visa or will the 144 hour visa suffice?

144 hour transit will suffice. Just make sure the flight to Shanghai also does not land in Hong Kong or another Chinese city.
