About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

1 day Shanghai Layover.

We are traveling to the Philippines from United States. Can we visit Shanghai on a day layover without having to claim our check in luggage then check them in again when we are ready to depart?

You are eligible for 24h twov in Shanghai, and if you have hotel reservation, maybe you can leave the airport for visiting Shanghai.
