About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canadian Citizen flying Vancouver-Shanghai

Canadian Citizen flying Vancouver-Shanghai. then overnite and catching cruise ship next day. Cruise itinerary includes Hong Kong, then terminates in Sydney,Aus.
Any advice?

Hong Kong is not part of mainland china so if this is the cruise that goes to Shanghai > Busan > Hong Kong > Vietnam etc, then as long as the flight to Shanghai does not make a stop in Korea then you are eligible for the visa free transit in Shanghai
