About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in Guangzhou from NYC

Hi-
I have a group - all American citizens - who have an 8 hour layover in Guangzhou when departing Bali back to NYC.

Are we eligible for the 24 TWOV and do we need to do anything before the trip or can it be done at the airport? Would like to save as much time as possible if can be done before.

Do we need a G?

You are eligible for the 24 TWOV in Guangzhou after arrival. You can get the result within ten minutes if only few people are waiting there.
