About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

We are Transiting through PEK, Do we need to take our luggage & Recheck?

We are flying Air-China the very first time and transiting through Beijing (PEK) Airport. I was just wondering about standard procedure right from arrival (Landing to PEK by Air China flight from Canada) to board connecting international flight (Another Air China flight to India)..
Do we need to pass through security again? How long that takes?
Do we need to get our luggage, recheck it to next flight?
Any other procedure?
Thank you in advance for all your help..

Your both airlines are both in T3. The correct transfer procedures are the following:
STEP 1: Flight Arrival
STEP 2:Transfer Procedures
STEP 3: Border Inspection
STEP 4: Security Check
STEP 5: Custom Inspection
STEP 6: Waiting & Boarding

Generally speaking, 1.5 hours are enough for you to make this transfer.
