Enjoy the 72h Free Visa while have a chinese visa

Hi,

I'm supposed to follow an exchange program in a chinese university. So I have a single entry X1 and a flight from Paris to Beijing (I'm french). But I have to go at Taiwan first, just for 15 days. After I will go back in China to reach my chinese university. Does is it possible to enjoy the free transit policy, while I have on the same time a valid visa for China ? I will use this entry permit two weeks later, when I will be back in China to follow my exchange program.

Cheers,

If you fly Paris-Beijing-Taiwan you can transit without using your visa. But you must be absolutely sure to make this totally clear to the immigration officer when you arrive, otherwise they might cancel your visa.
