I think you might need to go back to the country you has just came from.

I've heard of some people getting option to book a flight to a third country putting them compliant with the 24 hr transit. Why are you expecting to be deported?

Back in 2017 immigration would escort you to the ticketing counter where you will buy a seat leaving the country (usually the immediate flight out) and will sit with you until you have boarded the plane. So it could be any country, not just the country of origin or the one you arrived from. The Canadian who was refused entry this month also elected to go to South Korea instead.
