constant refusal to accept my resignation

I have attempted to resign face-to-face on numerous occasions both being rejected. With the 90 day notice can the boss still reject and not sign the release papers so I can't work for another school in China? my contract ends in February 2022 but I want to leave as soon as possible. My work visa ends in May 2021, if I refuse to have my visa renewed, would this allow me to resign and work for another school?

Cheerio, generally speaking, you need to notice your employer of your resignation 30 days before your intended date of leave. If you do so, your boss has no right to reject your resignation.

Thanks for your response. They stated that the only way they would let me leave is if I leave the country. They will not issue me the release papers which would allow me to transfer to another school in China. What can I do?
