About:Shika Snow Mountain

Is there any bus from Dukezong ancient town to Shika mountain directly?

Hi, we are going to stay in a hotel at Dukezong Ancient Town and we are planning to go to Shika Mountain in the early morning. I am wondering whether there is a bus running from Dukezong Ancient Town to Shika Mountain? Or the only way to go to the mountain is to take the bus line 9 in front of the Bus Station? Is there any direct way to go from Shika Mountain to Songzanlin Monastery? (we plan to visit Shika mountain first then visit Songzanlin monastery after that)

Yes, you can take the bus no.9 from Dawa Road to the mountain scenic area. As I know, the bus schedules are from 07:30 to 17:00 at intervals of around an hour.
Or you can hire a car directly. The fare is around CNY60 for the round trip.

I didn't find the direct way from Shika Mountain to Songzanlin Monastery. You'd better to hire a privcate car.
