Amsterdam - Shanghai - Okinawa & Okinawa - Shanghai - Amsterdam

Is it possible to go into Shanghai twice? On the way to Okinawa I want to use 144h visa and stay for 5 days in Shanghai. On the way back I only need 24h (if possible 48h) in Shanghai. Will this be possible?
