Ferry from Shekou to Macau, borders control and inland transportation

Hello,

I would like to do a day trip with a friend from Shenzhen Shekou to Macao this Saturday.
I acknowledged the best option would be to take the earliest ferry from Shekou (Turbo-Jet): 8:15, 8:45, or 9:30 and to come back at 20:00, 20:45.
How long before do we have to be at the ferry terminals ?

I believe we have to go through the customs both in China and Macao. How long should I plan for this ?

Also how far in time from the peninsula where the old Portuguese borough are the Macao Ferry Terminal and the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal ?

Thanks for your advice.

1. You are advised to arrive at the ferry terminal 45mins. in advance before the departure.
2. You need to prepare 2-3 hours.
3. The distance is not far. It takes around 20-30 mins on the way.
