About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does the Visa free transit 144 hours work with train coming from Mongolia?

I will be taking the train from Mongolia to Beijing and then fly out of Beijing to USA. Does the train arriving at Beijing Central Station qualify for the 144 hours TWOV?

No. Only West railway station qualifies. You either need a visa or a flight from Mongolia.
