About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Tokyo-Beijing-NYC

I am us citizen.i am thinking to stop on my return to us stopover Beijing for 4nights.will I get 144 hr twov or I need to apply for Chinese visa

yes if Beijing is only mainland china landing you can stay 144 hours in transit

NYC-Tokyo( via Beijing layover 2 hrs) -7 days in Japan

Return
Tokyo to Beijing stopover for 4 nights( 144 transit visa)- Beijing to NYC.

USA > Beijing (2-24 hr) > Tokyo> Beijing (144hr) > USA is allowed.
