About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Questions about the same final destination

Strange, but I can not find such simple case.
For example: I am flying Hungary > Austria > Shanghai(stay 144 hours) > Germany > Hungary
Do I qualify for 144 hour twov, as I arrive from one country departure to 3rd, but my 1st anf final are the same country, which probably China don't care. Do they?

You're fine for the 144h twov as you fly Austria - China - Germany.

It doesn't matter where do you start just the last/first country after/before China has to be different.

but won't that be a problem that on my returning ticket will be issue for Germany and then transfer to Hungary? Chinese customs officer will see that, so do as he will see that I arrive from Austria, but before was in Hungary. Thank You

It's fine. Only the stop immediately before and immediately after China are relevant to Chinese immigration.
