About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this possible

Planning on visiting Shanghai in April for F1?

Is this possible to be eligible for 144 hour free entry??

Hanoi to Shanghai (PVG) with Cathay Pacific (1hr 25min layover in Hong Kong) on Wed April 10th

Shanghai to Hanoi Direct with Vietnam Airlines on Tues April 16th.

I'm planning on staying with an Air BnB close to the race track. Someone has now mentioned The Air BnB host or Air BnB is responsible for registering the guest with the relevant authorities. True or False

Thanks again for help

It depends on which passport you travel if you're eligible for the 144h twov or not.

Then you're fine for the 144h twov.
Well I wouldn't bet that your host will help you to register at the local police station.
Message him/her before to clarify it but it's no guarantee that it'll work.
Fo the 144h twov I wouldn't use Airbnb but it's up to you.
