Is it allowed to apply for a Chinese working visa while in Japan?

Dear Sir , I am a Lesotho Citizen and planning to come to Japan in the next two days . I will be on an exemption into the country. I would like to know if it is allowed for me to apply for a Chinese working Z while in japan because I’ll be heading to China right after. A response will mean a lot to me thank you

Hi, if possible, you are not advised to make the application from Japan because it is rather difficult for non-resident applicants to get the visa for China from there.
