About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit
TWOV stopping in two cities in China but leaving the airport only at 1
Hello, I am flying from Canada to Shanghai to Kunming to India. I will have a 4 hour layover in Shanghai and a 23 hour layover in Kunming. I only want to leave the airport in Kunming. Would I need to get the 24hr TWOV permit in Shanghai when I go through customs, meaning I would have less than 24 hours that I could be in the city in Kunming? Or is there a way to get a 24 hr TWOV in Kunming even though I won't be going through customs there?
