About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

144 hour free Visa in Shanghai. Will it work in my case listed below?

Hi, I will be flying from the US to SH and staying there three days. Then I travel onto Hong Kong for 2 days. Then back to the US. Does this meet the 144-hour free visa requirement?
