About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am US permanent Resident, holding Vietnamese passport.

I will have layover 20 hours in Beijing. I want to visit the city. Do I need visa or I can apply a free 24hours entry permit at the airport? Thanks

If you transit in Beijing, you can apply for 24h twov, and you are allowed to visit the city.
